I was thinking about this today, and I tested out my theory and it worked! I'm probably not the first to figure this out, but at least you guys learn something

This would look awesome if the lines were smoother and thicker.

I believe it should work with Photoshop. I'm not sure about Paint Tool, but I'm betting there is some type of similar process to make these.

Hmm. *rummages desk for manga encyclopedia* I know it works for GIMP, as well as Paint tool SAI. Adobe Photoshop works with it as well. Aha! I believe it does work for Photoshop.
Are you trying to test it out on Photoshop right now? (I'm assuming you already have it.)
